OK 67.45 is a basic austenitic stainless steel welding electrode that produces weld metal containing less than 5% ferrite. The electrode offers excellent resistance to heat cracking and is particularly suitable for welding difficult-to-weld steels. It is also used for joining 12-14% manganese steel to itself or to other steel grades, and as a buffer layer prior to the welding of wear-resistant layers.
OK 67.45 is used for repair and maintenance work, welding difficult-to-weld steels, dissimilar joints and applying buffer layers prior to hardfacing.
